The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.
Reflections on Today’s Verse
Over the last 1.5 years, Versepost.com has grown to over 11,000 readers on a daily basis, a robust Facebook community, and videos watched thousands of times on YouTube and beyond. The Lord has blessed our ministry—all by His grace.
After much prayerful discussion among the ministry’s leadership and due to limited resources to keep it all going, we have mutually agreed to close down Versepost.com and the e-mail list. Instead, we will focus on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/VersePost starting tomorrow, Wed., January 17.
I’m very thankful God interferes with our plans. (Prov. 16:9). Let us be reminded of the Scripture:
“Many are the plans of a man, but the purpose of the Lord will stand” (Prov. 19:21). So make your plan. And trust his purpose.
“The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the plans of the peoples“ (Psalm 33:10). Joyful confidence!
“When Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped. “ Judges 7:15. Lord, grant such a response to your plans!
Make plans today but remember plans don’t accomplish things, God does (Proverbs 21:31).
Life is what happens when God gets busy thwarting your plans. No plan of yours is even remotely as wise as the plans the Lord King Creator Savior has for you right here, right now. The Lord has some plans that are so much better than we thought, some that are so much harder, and many that are both.
God digs deep when he plans on building high. It is God’s grace that makes His plans so certain.
Know that if God tears up our plans and agenda for the day, he’ll probably make confetti for a parade of his own choosing. We must be willing to accept when the Lord makes it clear that what we are planning is not bad, but not in his will for us.
May our prayer be, “Dear Lord, remind me every day that your plans are better than my dreams.”

Father, thank you that your plans are better than our plans. Thank you for this last 1.5 years on Versepost.com and we look forward to our singular move to our Facebook page. Grant us wisdom and growth–for people to grow in Christ and to know Christ for the first time. Thank you, Lord, that you can be known only through your Son, Jesus Christ. In His name. Amen.
